Mediator's Comments:
|
My interest in child protection mediation is steeped in more than 30
years of working with families, communities and organizations, in
direct service, mentoring, coaching, counselling and leadership roles.
My experience includes working in non-profit and government services
as well as a diverse range of ethnic and cultural settings including
Aboriginal and Indo-Canadian communities.
An appreciation of family dynamics as
well as statutory responsibilities gives me a particular understanding of the complexities involved in child protection disputes.
This wide range of interests, training and experience has contributed to what I believe is a balanced, and neutral perspective in my role as a mediator.
