Mediator's Comments: I am a Certified Family Relations Mediator practicing a strength-based, child-inclusive approach to working with families. My focus on respectful communication and listening skills encourages clients to work collaboratively towards mutually beneficial solutions and optimal parenting arrangements. For eleven years I was a child and family counsellor working in partnership with the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) social workers, psychologists and mental health professionals. During this time I provided children and families with crisis-intervention, support, counselling, coaching, and advocacy services. I am a member of the Victoria Collaborative Family Law Group (CFL), the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR), and Family Mediation Canada (FMC).
