Mediator's Comments:
|
I work in Small Claims Court as a Provincial Civil Court Mediator, in my private practice (Balance Mediation) and volunteer with local organizations. After working with the community college for twelve years, company meetings and union issues highlighted my natural conflict resolution and communication abilities. Keeping participants focused, addressing emotions and relationships, finding common goals and agreement options are my strong points. Formal mediation training with the Justice Institute in Conflict Resolution, RCMP Community Justice Facilitator, and at Royal Roads University in Justice Studies has provided me with a skill set and experiences in working with diverse circumstances. Construction issues, workplace, community, multi-party, couples, and Victim/Offender concerns are just some of my areas in successful resolutions.
